June - Minerva Reef

“Conditions at Minerva continued to deteriorate.  We had 40 knots of wind for almost four days and outside the reef
there were 4 meter seas."

August - Jass & Jenn Visit

August 16 -we are back in Neiafu and excitedly awaiting the arrival of our daughter, Jenn, and son-in-law, Jass,
from New York.

 At 0830h on September 9 we motored into  Savusavu, Fiji, and picked up a mooring.

 Fiji for the most part was visually stunning  with its mountainous terrain and its  spectacular beaches.

 Dec - Rough Passage

 The 1100+ nautical mile passage would take  about 8 days, with no stops in between
